Team Development- Week 3

  • We are currently in the norming   stage of team development

  • We experience the forming stage  in week one of program and transitioned quicky through storming with the high-pressure nature of the EY case

  • After working together on multiple projects since then, we have learned how to work together efficiently and understand each others' strengths

  • We expect to transition to the per-forming stage in the coming weeks as we hone our skills and continue to work together

Team Development- Week 8

  • We are currently in the performing stage of team development

  • By week 8 we have transitioned through norming. While some of the anxiety persists through this stage, it is a result of the high-level work required of the program rather than our cohesion as a team.

  • We have a greater understanding of each team member's strengths at this point and are better able to allocate our resources toward the most efficient use of our time.

  • We expect to remain in the performing stage for the next few weeks as we have many high stakes deliverable coming up and must continue to work well together as we juggle our individual responsibilities as well.

Team Development- Week 12

  • We are currently in the adjourning stage of team development

  • By week 12 we have officially completed all our team deliverables and celebrated the successes of our final presentations.

  • At this point we are more than aware of each other's strengths and have developed a synchronicity that only comes with time. In our final deliverables we also recognize the incredible amount of growth we have experienced. The knowledge and skills we have acquired are reflected in our work and  in the way we communicate with one another.

  • As core comes to an end, we experience a sense of mourning over our time together. We recognize the difficulties that will come after Thanksgiving as we are thrust into a new team dynamic and must encounter these phases of team development again. As we complete our final peer assessments, we are happy with our group development and our ability to tackle this tough semester as a team.
